Apple has introduced new AirPods Max 2 and the Max 2, a new model from 2026 compared to the first version released six years ago. The new model incorporates the H2 chip, which adds new features while retaining the styling of the original release. The physical design of the AirPod Max 2 remains unchanged, with dimensions at 7.37 inches tall, 6.64 inches wide, and 3.28 inches thick when fully deployed. The AirPads Max 2 also incorporates a new Camera Remote feature, which can be used to take photographs or stop and start video recordings on a nearby iPhone or iPad. Both versions also feature access to Siri for verbal interactions and support for Siri Interactions. The Active Noise Cancellation in the Max has been improved to be 1.5 times more effective than the H1 chip's version. Both generations also feature Personalized Spatial Spatial Audio and a new Voice Isolation feature.
