Herb Sendek is still coaching, has Santa Clara believing in Kentucky upset

Herr Sendek, Santa Clara's longtime head coach, has led the Broncos to their first NCAA Tournament appearance in 30 years, with a team currently enjoying their best season in decades. Despite his 600th win as a head coach and being named West Coast Conference coach of the year, Sendek remains confident in his ability to deliver a significant upset for his team. This is not the first time the Broncos have beaten a ranked team in their 30-year run. The game against Kentucky will be Sendek's 16th Tournament game as head coach. The Broncos are aiming for their first win since 1996 with a 19-point win over Xavier.
