The Portland Trail Blazers were stunned by a 137-132 overtime victory against the Denver Nuggets, despite a record-setting performance and a 17-point fourth-quarter deficit. The loss, which sent Portland to ninth place in the Western Conference standings, sent the Blazers' hopes for a strong season. Despite a strong performance from Denver's Nikola Jokic and a strong defense, the Blazers were unable to maintain their momentum. The Nuggets outplayed the Blazers 16-6 over the final 4:19 of regulation and managed to secure their third consecutive win against the Blazers. The victory marks the 18th consecutive defeat for Portland.
