The Indianapolis Colts will not be exercising the fifth-year option on quarterback Anthony Richardson's rookie contract, according to Fox 59. Richardson, who has not attended the Colts' offseason workouts and has reportedly requested a trade, is expected to be traded during the offseason. His fifth year option would pay him just over $22 million for 2027. If the Colts fail to trade Richardson, he will be an unrestricted free agent after the 2026 season.
