British film company See-Saw has acquired the rights to adapt John Grant's original detective novels, "Lovejoy", a BBC comedy-drama mystery series. The series, which ran from 1986 to 1994, starred Ian McShane and featured several actors including Chris Jury, Dudley Sutton, Phyllis Logan, and Malcolm Tierney. The executive producers of the new series will include Lisa Gilchrist, Helen Gregory, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman and Simon Gillis.
