Lee Byung-hun, known for his roles in "Squid Game" and "No Other Choice," has been cast in the lead role of "Nambeol," a martial arts action film set in the early Joseon Dynasty. The film will mark the feature directing debut of veteran DP Lee Mo-gae, who has extensive Korean genre credits. The story follows a unit of nine soldiers sent to Tsushima Island to rescue Koreans taken prisoner by Japanese pirate groups. This marks the third time that Lee and Mo have worked with Hive Media Corp.
