The United States has sunk an Iranian warship with a torpedo, the first since World War II, in international waters. The Department of Defense posted a video of the attack on the ship. The submarine was named "Soleimani", named after the former general of Iran's Revolutionary Revolutionary Revolutionary Party. The Joint Chiefs Chair Gen. Dan Caine said the U.S. had fired a single Mark 48 torpedo to destroy the ship, sending it to the bottom of the sea.
