The University of Nevada, Reno's StreetReach program has been partnered with Washoe County to provide essential care to the region's homeless population. The move is part of a collaboration between the UNR Nursing and Public Health Schools, where they provide vital care to those at risk. The vehicle was purchased by the county for Northern Nevada Public Health using funds from the American Rescue Plan Act. The program will also offer learning opportunities for both nursing and public health students.
