Indiana Governor Mike Braun has indicated a potential shift in state's approach to marijuana policy, following a study commissioned by the Richard M. Fairbanks Foundation that found that most of the state's population is within proximity to legal marijuana dispensaries. Factors such as neighboring states allowing marijuana use and the volume of cross-border travel are being considered. The report suggests that Indiana residents spend an estimated 1.8 billion dollars annually on marijuana, despite the drug remaining illegal in the state.
