This Refrigerator Gets Consumer Reports' Lowest Quality Score

The Danby DPF074B2WDB-6, a 7.4-foot apartment-sized fridge, has been named among the worst home appliances Consumer Reports tested in 2025. The report found that the fridge was poor in ease of use and its crisper drawer failed to retain moisture. It also performed poorly in energy efficiency tests. The model has an MSRP of $599.99 and is marketed as a mid-size option for apartments, cottages, and offices.
