Wind gust tops 80 mph as high winds hit Colorado

The high winds are increasing across Colorado, with some areas seeing wind gusts exceeding 70 mph and over 80 mph. A Pinpoint Weather Alert Day has been issued for Thursday for wind and fire danger, and several high wind warnings and red flag warnings have been issued across the state. Hundreds of flights have been delayed at the Denver International Airport and several road closures.
