Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy, co-chair and co-CEOs of Warner Bros. Motion Pictures Group, took to the stage at CinemaCon at a potential crossroads for the studio, which has a deal to sell itself to Paramount. The duo praised theater owners' support for their entire slate and stated they have no intention of slowing down production. The deal with Paramount CEO David Ellison is expected to close in the third quarter, but has sparked backlash among the creative community who fear fewer films and TV shows and major job cuts.
