The Guyana FPSO Errea Wittu, ExxonMobil's fifth and largest floating production, storage, and offloading vessel for the Stabroek Block, has departed from Singapore for Guyanese waters where it is expected to begin producing oil in 2026. The vessel, named Errea Witu, is designed to produce approximately 250,000 barrels of oil per day. It features a gas treatment capacity of 540 million cubic feet per day, water injection capacity of 350,000 barrel per day and storage for 2 million barrels of crude. ExxonMobil and its co-venturers, Hess Corporation and CNOOC, made the final investment decision for the Uaru project on April 27, 2023, targeting a 2026 startup date. The arrival of the Erreawitu marks a pivotal moment for Guyana's economy. The country's GDP has experienced explosive growth and oil revenues are funding infrastructure projects, including new hospitals and schools.
