OmegaBall, a variation of association football, has been created by Anthony Dittmann, one of the creators of the sport, and friends Bob Funk and Jamie Hemann. The game involves three teams of five players competing on a circular pitch, with each team tasked with protecting one goal while attempting to score in the other two. There are no offsides or corner kicks to slow down the action, and goal-hanging is encouraged. The winner is the team with the most goals/points scored at the end of the game. The first OmegaBall match will take place in California in 2020.
