The Los Angeles Dodgers overcame a five-run deficit to secure their fifth comeback win this year, coming from behind 6-1 down to beat the Blue Jays. The team's largest comeback win since the 2023 season was achieved through a four-run eighth inning. Despite a tough start from Roki Sasaki, the Dodgers' victory pushed them to within two runs of scoring two runs in the sixth inning and a two-run home run from Dalton Rushing. Shohei Ohtani also extended his MLB-best on-base streak to 40 consecutive games. The win increases Los Angeles' record to 7-2 and keeps the team above.500 in the NL West.
