The victory marks the beginning of back-to-back games for the Nuggets, marking their sweep against Philadelphia and improving to 17-12 against the Eastern Conference this year. The team's leading scorer was Christian Braun with 22 points and 14 assists, while Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon both scored well. Despite a disappointing performance from Nikola Jokic, who scored a season-low eight points, and a technical foul and nine rebounds respectively, the Nuggets dominated the game. The game marked the sixth consecutive game in Denver for the team, marking a significant turnaround for them.
