The Atlanta Braves defeated the Boston Red Sox 3-2 in the 10th inning, thanks to Mike Yastrzemski's leadoff double. Drake Baldwin and Michael Harris II both scored home runs for the Braves. The Red Sox had managed to claw back into a tie game with single runs in both the sixth and seventh innings. Didier Fuentes, the last of five Atlanta relievers to appear, managed to secure a scoreless 10th. Despite a game-winning homer by Marcelo Mayer, Boston's Mickey Gasper and Ceddanne Rafaela both had multiple hits. The victory marks Atlanta's fifth consecutive win.
