Basketball besties: Cobbers seniors Musland, Safranski have hoops bond that started in elementary school

Concietia seniors Taylor Safranski and Molly Musland, who have been teammates for the past decade, started playing summer hoops together around sixth grade through high school. They have been roommates at Concordia and have played in a combined 202 career games for Concordia over their four seasons. The team is set to play against Johns Hopkins (27-1) in the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Division III women's tournament later this week. Musland is second on the Cobbers in scoring, averaging 9.7 points per game. The only time they've been rivals was during the 2022 North Dakota Lions All-Star basketball series.
