The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) workers have been paid, with wait times at Atlanta's airport decreasing significantly. President Donald Trump signed an executive action to pay those workers who have missed several paychecks. However, the House rejected the Department of Homeland Security bill, meaning that the partial shutdown is not over. Despite this, passengers are encouraged to arrive four hours before their flights due to unpredictable wait times. Local TSA union rep George Borek predicts that long lines will continue, and that about 500 TSA agents have quit across the country.
