Beloved Fairfield Preschool Director Mourned By Community

Michele Linane, a lifelong Derby resident, has died at Griffin Hospital. A GoFundMe campaign was launched last month to support her and her family, which has raised over $22,000 towards a current fundraising goal of $26,000. Linane served as director of A Child's Garden daycare in Fairfield for 31 years and was known for her kindness and generosity. She also donated to St. Vincent de Paul throughout the year and served as a greeter at St. Michael's Church in Derby.
