The director of Avengers: Doomsday, Joe Russo, has clarified Spider-Man's MCU origins by stating that Peter Parker, played by Tom Holland, doesn't blame himself for Uncle Ben's death. This change has been made in light of the character's death, which has not been mentioned in many of the MCU's origin stories. Instead, Aunt May (Marisa Tomei) has been acting as a surrogate in the character’s story. This comes as part of the upcoming Marvel movie, Spider-Men: The Spectacular, which also features Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, and Sadie Sink.
