3M and Bain are set to jointly buy the fire and rescue firm for nearly $2B. The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2026. The new joint venture will be led by Kristofer Howard, the CEO of the company, will support workers in high-risk environments such as firefighters, emergency responders, and industrial workers. The company has also announced plans to sell its Filtration Group to Parker-Hannifin for $9.25 billion and a smaller part of its operations to Donaldson Co.
