Former Alabama quarterback, Ty Simpson, is expected to be drafted with a four-year contract worth around $20 million. However, Simpson considered staying in college for a $6.5 million offer from Miami. He stated that the money was too good not to consider. Simpson's former coach, Nick Saban, advised him to consider playing professional football instead of playing in college. The new NIS deals have changed both college football and pro football, allowing players to make more money with another year in college than their annual average salary in the NFL.
