4.0 magnitude earthquake shakes community near Cainesville, Utah

A 4.0 magnitude earthquake occurred near Cainesville, Utah, around 10:32 p.m. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that people should immediately drop onto their hands and knees, cover their head and neck underneath a sturdy piece of furniture, and hold on to their shelter. If you cannot drop to the ground or evacuate, the CDC recommends that you sit down or remain seated. It also recommends that if you're outside during an earthquake, stay inside. However, once the initial earthquake is over, there may be aftershocks.
