The cast of "Stand by Me" has reunited as adults, four decades after the film's debut, reuniting with childhood costars Jerry O'Connell and Corey Feldman. The reunion comes with "bittersweet sadness" over the loss of their costar, River Phoenix, who died at age 23 in 1993. The cast is embarking on a national tour to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the film, which is based on a 1982 Stephen King novella. The anniversary comes just three months after the killings of director Rob Reiner and his wife Michele.
