Former aide to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Dan Caldwell, who was accused of leaking classified information, has been hired by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). Caldwell, along with Colin Caroll, former chief of staff to Deputy Defense Secretary Stephen A. Feinberg, and Darin Selnick, were removed from the Pentagon in April amid a probe into information leaks at the department. The Pentagon investigated the allegations but found no evidence of any wrongdoing. Caldwell, a Marine Corps veteran who served in Iraq and advocated for a more restrained U.S. foreign policy, was cleared after an extensive background review by ODNI.
