The Kansas City Chiefs have restructured the final year of LB Drue Tranquill's contract to free up more cap space. His base pay will be reduced from $6 million to $3.5 million, with $3 million fully guaranteed. This move allows the Chiefs to avoid being a cap casualty by signing a three-year, $19 million deal. The team also released Mike Danna and Jawaan Taylor.
