The bill excludes funding for Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Border Patrol. However, Speaker Mike Johnson, who supports a short-term measure, argues that the bill is inadequate due to its omission of funding for these agencies. As a temporary solution, President Donald Trump has ordered federal officials to pay Transportation Security Administration workers.
