Bridgeport Man Sentenced To Federal Prison Time for Fentanyl Distribution: U.S. Attorney

Angel Echevarria, known as "Frenchie" and "Gordo," has been sentenced to 60 months in federal prison for distributing fentanyl. The sentence was handed down by Judge Victor A. Bolden and ordered to serve four years of supervised release. The FBI's Bridgeport Safe Streets Task Force and the Bridgeport Police Department conducted an extensive investigation into an open-air drug market in the area. EcheVarria pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and to distribute 40 grams or more of fentanyl.
