Men’s basketball: Gophers add 7-foot-2 German center via Michigan transfer

The University of Minnesota has added another player to its men's basketball program, Malick Kordel, from the Michigan Wolverines. The 7-foot-2, 275-pound German native played only 14 games last season for a national championship team. Kordele is the third new recruit to join the Gophers, with two more scholarship positions available.
