Al Roker, the co-anchor and weatherman at TODAY, has shared his latest workout routine using a fitness tool called weighted sled pushes. The sled is a weighted training tool that can be either pushed or pulled across turf and is used as a cardio and strength exercise. James McMillian, Start TODAY trainer and President of Tone House, explains that the harder you push, the more work your body has to do. By combining this with both a push and pull method, Al is targeting both the front and back of the body. Despite the intimidating nature of the sled, McMillian believes it can be beneficial for anyone, regardless of age or fitness level.
