A powerful storm system is expected to bring multiple rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms to Nebraska through Monday, with the greatest threat across southeastern Nebraska into northeastern Kansas. The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for far southeastern Nebraska from 7 p.m. to 1 p.,m. ET. A second round of severe storms will develop around midnight and continue into early Monday morning, with large hail and damaging winds expected to be the main threats. While these storms may be weaker early Monday, they still cannot be ruled out a strong or severe storm. The best chance for severe weather will remain across southeastern Neastier Nebraska into southwest Iowa. The weather system is moving into Kansas and then toward Nebraska.
