Cretin-Derham Hall lost to Stewartville in the Class 3A state semifinal at Williams Arena. Despite a strong performance from the Raiders, their shooting performance failed. Stewartville, which is ranked 29-1, will now face second-seeded Benilde-St. Margaret's for the state title. Despite the loss, Raiders coach Tara Gunderson praised their effort and energy, noting that their performance was unusual for their previous game against Hill-Murray. The Tigers' offensive production came from the post and offensive rebounds, which led to 14 second-chance points. The win moves Stewartville into the state final for the first time since 2023.
