The Center of The Center (The Center) is set to open its doors to a food hall and 90-seat bar in downtown Atlanta next month, with developer Chris Eachus aiming for it to be "Downtown's living room" for people who will enjoy hanging out and enjoying a variety of activities. The food hall will feature 12 dining concepts, including Dessert Box, Flora D'Italia, Fuzzy's Seafood, La Tropical, Mimi Taqueria and Morelli's Ice Cream. At the center of the 24,000-square-foot space will be a bar that can seat up to 90 people, which CP Group claims is Georgia's largest. Alongside the food hall, CP Group is also planning to transform two towers into residential and hospitality uses. The company, which purchased the complex in 2021, hopes the project will offer a chance for people to experience Downtown more often than attending sporting events or conventions.
