Middlesex College in New Jersey will introduce a new program that allows Licensed Practical Nurses to earn an associate degree in nursing and advance their careers as registered nurses. The LPN-to-RN bridge program, which has received provisional accreditation from the New Jersey Board of Nursing, will be completed in one year across three semesters. The program aims to address statewide nursing shortages and lower career advancement barriers for working healthcare professionals.
