A True Crime Toy Story: Deputies Recover $1 Million Lego Haul

Three men from California have been arrested in Mojave, California, after attempting to flee in stolen freight trailers. The Kern County Sheriff's Office found a large amount of Lego products inside the trucks, which were travelling from Fort Worth, Texas, to Moreno Valley, California. The men were charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, cargo theft, and conspiracy. The stolen trucks are a popular target for thieves who can quickly sell their loot online or on the black market at high prices. The F.B.I and the National Insurance Crime Bureau claim cargo theft costs the U.S. economy tens of billions of dollars a year.
