The Utah Mammoth hockey team lost 4-1 to Anaheim Ducks, a likely playoff opponent. The team had an incredible 75 shot attempts against the Ducks, but only managed to manage 30 of these attempts. The Ducks' defensive unit was particularly effective, with 26 blocks being the second-most Utah has faced this season. Despite this, the team's head coach, André Tourigny, found little reason to nitpick from his team in the game. The Mammoth, who have been red-hot on the road since the Olympics, are now 1-4-1 at home compared to their 1-1-1 record at home.
