Giants general manager Joe Schoen has commented on Dexter Lawrence's trade request, which has been raised as he seeks more money with two years left on his contract. Schoen stated that he and coach John Harbaugh, who has final say on personnel decisions, have had good conversations with Lawrence's agent, Joel Segal, and are working towards a resolution. He also stated that they are not going to put any deadlines on anything before the start of the draft, unless Harbaugh wants picks in this draft for Lawrence. Despite this, Lawrence has two years remaining on his second NFL contract and is set to make $20 million this year and $19.5 million in 2027.
