Allyson Felix, the most decorated women's track & field athlete in Olympic history, is preparing for a comeback at 40 to compete for a spot in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. She initially retired following the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, which put her career at 11 medals. Despite initially thinking she was done, Felix decided to return to competition at the age of 40. She plans to enter several races in hopes of qualifying for the Olympic trials.
