Smart ring maker, Ultrahuman, has released the results of a sleep study that claims to be the largest of its kind to date. The study, which combined data from 227,860 nights of sleep, found that sleep patterns can influence overall health outcomes. The results also revealed that nights of poor sleep saw overnight glucose rise by 6.4 mg/dL and time spent in the healthy range dropped by 13.9%. The study is currently undergoing peer review and suggests poor sleep patterns may be "quietly nudging" towards increased diabetes risk.
