Jorge Polanco, a veteran slugger for the Mets, has a new injury concern with his right wrist, which is causing concern for the team. The Mets lost 12-4 to the Cubs at Wrigley Field. Polanco underwent an MRI exam and there is a possibility he may be placed on the injured list. Two other lefty hitters, Juan Soto and Jared Young, are currently on the sidelines. If Polanco is placed on such a list, the team may recall Ronny Mauricio from Triple-A Syracuse. The team's lineup was adjusted to accommodate the situation.
