Joe Ramirez, a self-taught barista from Peoria, has opened a coffee pop-up at downtown Phoenix restaurant Chilte. Ramirez, who started Soundtrack Coffee from his home in 2023, has been serving coffee and matchas for customers since then. The self-proclaimed barista now has a residency inside the restaurant. Ramirez's creations have been lauded by customers and local chefs, including Lawrence "LT" Smith, who was impressed with Ramirez's creativity and flair. The restaurant will also feature specialty drinks and collaborations with local chefs.
