Iran's nuclear doctrine not likely to change, foreign minister says

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has stated that Iran's stance against the development of nuclear weapons won't significantly change, despite Western countries including the U.S. and Israel accusing Tehran of seeking nuclear weapons. He also noted that the new supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has yet to publicly express his views on the matter. Araqch added that fatwas depend on the Islamic jurist issuing them and he was not yet in a position to judge the political views of Mojtaba Khamenei.
