A Massachusetts man, Andrew D. Emerald, has been arrested for allegedly threatening to kill President Donald Trump and hang him from the Statue of Liberty. The messages were allegedly posted to Emerald's Facebook account from May 2025 to July 2025. If convicted, Emerald faces up to five years in prison and a possible three-year supervised release. Other alleged threats include a threat to burn down Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence and a potential $250,000 fine.
