24-year-old found dead while in custody at MCC San Diego

The U.S. Department of Justice has confirmed that a 24-year-old inmate, Roberto Daniel Garcia, was found unresponsive at Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) San Diego on April 18. Despite attempts to revive him, he was pronounced dead shortly after. The incident occurred at the time of the day.
