Gary Woodland: Done wasting energy trying to hide PTSD

Former U.S. Open champion, Gary Woodland, has been battling post-traumatic stress disorder following his 2023 brain surgery. Despite his seizure and return to the PGA Tour in 2024, Woodland continued to battle symptoms and was diagnosed with PTSD a year ago. He said he no longer wishes to waste energy on hiding it and instead focus on his recovery and family. Woodland praised the help provided by the Professional Game's Association for Protocols to ensure his safety and additional security during his games. He also expressed his belief that continued playing will help him in the future.
