Daniel Munoz Montero is accused of murdering 31-year-old Courtney Clinton and leaving her one-year old child alone in a car with her dead body in 2024. He was arrested over a year ago and later extradited back to Washington from Kentucky. Police believe the killing was targeted and that Munoz told investigators he had intimate contact with Clinton but returned to his apartment. They also gathered Ring camera video as evidence but his story didn't match with the video. While waiting for official lab results, he is also accused of running away and failing to show up for a separate court appearance a month after the murder. The baby in the car is now with family members.
