URC: Cardiff, Ospreys hunt play-offs, Dragons and Scarlets battle

The United Rugby Championship (URC) is set to provide significant drama as clubs focus on the final months of their seasons. Cardiff, Ospreys, Dragons and Scarlets are all in the hunt for the top eight, with Cardiff currently fifth and just a point off second-placed Stormers. Cardiff edged out Leinster in poor conditions last month to secure a spot in the play-offs for the first time. Meanwhile, Scarlets, who have not been in the mix for the playoffs, are currently on a five-game unbeaten run in the URC of four wins and a draw. OSpreys, who are currently a point better off than this stage last year, face a crucial fortnight in their bid for the bottom eight. Cardiff's remaining fixtures include a double-header against Bulls and Sharks, and they also face Glasgow.
