Atlanta City Council approves outdoor drinking district during FIFA World Cup

The Atlanta City Council has approved an ordinance allowing for outdoor open drinking in a limited area during the FIFA World Cup, starting on June 11. The designated area includes the area around Mercedes Benz Stadium, State Farm Arena, and the National Center for Civil and Human Rights. Anyone 21 or older can drink in this area from June 11 to July 19.
