Stephen Paul Gale, a 73-year-old man convicted of raping two women in a Framingham store over 30 years ago, has been sentenced to at least 50 years in prison. He was convicted on four counts of aggravated rape, two counts of kidnapping, and one count of armed robbery. Gale will serve at least 25 years and no more than 30 years for each rape. The case was re-discovered in 2022 after investigators used DNA evidence to identify family members of the suspect. Both victims made impact statements at the sentencing.
